Katie McCrea Joins Pryor Public Schools.

Hello Pryor Warriors! I am excited to join the team! As a career International Educator, I have experienced teaching in globally diverse and culturally rich locations and have traveled to 27 countries. However, Montana is my heart and soul! I was raised in Deer Lodge, Montana, and attended undergraduate school at MSU Billings. I then went on and taught in Arizona for a few years and then, in 2010, moved overseas to teach in the United Arab Emirates for eight years. My family and I returned home to Montana in 2018, and for the past five years, I have been teaching teachers at UM Western and MSU Billings. My teaching philosophy centers around the belief that education goes beyond textbooks and standardized tests. I hope to ignite my passion for learning by bringing the world into my classroom. When I am not teaching, I love traveling with my two daughters and husband, gardening, water sports, playing with my animals, and other outdoor activities.
